Was a Biologist for the Missouri Conservation Department, then bumped around for a while in Kansas City, then working for Governor Sebelius in Kansas (f'ing hate Kansas), then back to Kansas City where I am an administrator in our local government. I also teach Pub Admin part time at the college level. Yeah, I was stupid enough to get my PhD.
Marriage(s):
Married twice. Hopefully this one sticks. We have a daughter, Bailey, a son, Jackson, and our latest addition to the family...little Brynlee, born June 7, 2012. Nicky is a teacher in Lee's Summit, MO. Oldest in a Junior at Northwest Missouri State. Middle is playing football at Lees Summit North. Youngest is in Kindergarten.
I've coached the kids in multiple sports over the years, and have now pretty much narrowed that down to football. Still root for the Hawkeyes!
Haven't seen anyone from HS for years now, but am close with friends from college. Went to college with a few classmates, but lost track years ago. We own a 280 acre farm near the IA border near Unionville that we visit on weekends. I still spend most of my time outdoors and have worked to instill that in the kids. Can smell Iowa from there. Finally got my golf handicap to a reasonable level (sometimes).
Crazy that some of you actually have grandkids now. Wow. My oldest is 20, so it had better be awhile before I experience that.
