Comments:

Not sure where to start, but I graduated from MCC after a brief trip to Iowa State for 2 years(had to come back to sing with Mike Frieden and his awesome voice in swing choir). I went to as many Rush concerts as my credit card would allow while back at ISU, finally graduating in Journalism in 95'. I managed a Godfather's Pizza to eat and buy booze (I mean milk, mom and dad I swear) in college then after graduation they moved me to Fort Collins, CO to run their PR and advertising. Since they left a year later (hopefully not due to poor PR) I have been a bartender, hot tub installer/store manager/seller, wood worker and generally loving life in Colorado. Did a lot of skiing and hiking, then the knees went out so I haven't been doing either in years. So I quit it all and started working for a contract operations company that operates water and wastewater treament plants all over Colorado and the west. Since then I have taken more tests than I think I ever showed up for (at least sober) in college. But I have attained the top licenses in water, wastewaster and industrial wastewater treatment for the state of Colorado, New Mexico and Washington. Our little company has just started working with the booming oil industry out here to clean up their messes and have even started building and installing our our package treatment plants.

*2010 update: I have just been offered and accepted a job in Muscatine at the water pollution control plant as assistant director/environmental coordinator and will be moving there in May. Glad to be back!

In between all that I met my beautiful wife Lisa (at my favorite watering hole believe it or not). We dated then decided just to be "great friends" for several years until all of our friends got sick of it and made us get married (very willingly actually). We spent our honeymoon night (and 36 hours) in a bombed out school in the middle of Cancun while hurricane Emily smashed what I assume would have been a very nice resort in Playa del Carmen. We did spend the rest of our week in Cancun with green swimming pools and turbid ocean water, but luckily the tequila survived so we had fun anyway.

School Story:

I remember that one time during cross country (wait, I wasn't in cross country....oh yeah, they were in the same park running while....never mind). I remember band trips to DC and Florida, choir trips to places all over the counrty, swing choir with the whole gang of characters (where is that Mr K and his pit stained shirts?), Guys and Dolls, the variety show where all my "friends" in the audience (you know who you are Debbie Sulzberger, et al) shouted out my George Carlin routine, playing assassin in the halls (can you believe we would bring those things into school? You'd be arrested for that today), winter guard practicing in that un-heated gym in December (why in the hell did we do that again?) and many more that I can't wait to have brought back to memory.

Where I spend most of my time (in the truck not standing like a schmuck holding in my big gut).
