MUSCATINE, Iowa - George W. O'Neal Jr., 42, Muscatine, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011, at Trinity Hospital in Muscatine.

Mr. O'Neal Jr. was born July 9, 1969, in Muscatine, the son of George W. O'Neal and Mary Simmons. George was married to Julie Ribbink. They later divorced.

He worked as an over-the-road truck driver. He enjoyed taking his children on nature walks, cooking out and playing video games.

He will be deeply missed by his children, William O'Neal and Zechriah O'Neal, both of Muscatine, Devlin O'Neal, Mary O'Neal and Isaac O'Neal, all of Conesville; his mother, Mary Berardi of Muscatine and his father, George O'Neal Sr. of Florida; a sister, Jennifer Berardi and husband of Indiana; and his brother, Aldo Berardi III of Rutledge, Vt.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
